Charlotte is a passionate microscopist and cell biologist. During her PhD at ETH Zurich in Switzerland, she used super-resolution microscopy to study how septin filaments assemble in cells. Currently, she applies super-resolution microscopy to resolve the actin network organization in mammalian clathrin-mediated endocytosis. In combination with fluorescence live cell microscopy she aims to understand actin force production in this essential cellular process.
