Nishanth Upadhyayula

Undergraduate Researcher

I’m from Fremont, CA, and I’m a current undergraduate student (class of 2028) majoring in Molecular & Cell Biology and Data Science. Under Feng’s mentorship, I am exploring the role of protein condensates in clathrin-mediated endocytosis. After undergrad, I plan to attend medical school and pursue a career as a physician-scientist with a focus on oncology and cancer biology. Outside the lab, I enjoy playing & following sports — especially basketball, football, and soccer — as well as listening to music, playing video games, reading, and playing chess.
